Light the Way Mala

This mala is very special to my heart. I have been wanting to create a mala with this gemstone combination for a very long time, and yesterday, the creative muse visited me and the Light the Way Mala was born.  This beautiful  mala has some of my very favorite gemstones.  It's made with Super Seven, Golden Rutilated Quartz, and Clear Quartz.   The stone combination is very calming and I find it helps with some anxiety that I have during this "new normal" that we are experiencing.

Super Seven, also known as Melody Stone, is made up of seven crystals that occur naturally together.  Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Smokey Quartz, cacoxenite, rutile, geothite, and lepidocrocite make up Super Seven and therefore, the gemstone has the properties of all of them. Each stone has its own unique make up of this crystal combination, and you can see if you look closely at each bead that they are all different.  It is a truly beautiful combination and a gift from Mother Nature. 

Super Seven is only mined in Brazil, just north of the Rio De Janiero.  I have been trying to get as much of it as I can because my suppliers tell me that the mine is not producing as much gemstone anymore and it may become unavailable one day.  The prices of Super Seven have gone up considerably in just the last year alone. 

If you look closely at the pictures, you can see how clear the quartz points are that I have available.  They are absolutely stunning and really play well with light.  You can also see the gorgeous golden rutile that appears in the Golden Rutilated Quartz which is mesmerizing to see in different lights as well. These gemstones are very high quality.
